Main improvements

Video support. Visual Radio technology is implemented, including a number of new modules and improvements in old ones (including cameras controlled by microphones, graphics overlay and synced broadcast of the video stream). The technology allows for simultaneous broadcast of a radio program in FM and video program via internet, cable TV, satellite TV, and so on.Switch matrix

  • Digispot II Matrix-service module provides commutation and input signal backup:
    • Client module Digispot II DJin Matrix Client is used for visual monitoring and control of switch matrix
    • Monitoring of the application and its modules’ status via WMI (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Control of access to codecs that require license (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Revision of radio visualization system:
    • Revision of titling module interface
    • Development of scene (a set of logical rules that control general view and close-up cameras, as well as the players) manager
    • Control of cameras and Vaddio console
    • Possibility of using presets to pre-configure Vaddio cameras
  • A complete solution for visual information aimed at various target groups, from administrators and technical specialists to radio station guests — Information Panel (Digispot Infopanel) (also included in 2.16.0)

New modules

  • A module that enhances the system’s capabilities of transferring information about internal events (event indicators and GPI) to other applications via a system of events
  • A component control module that allows you to check which components are installed on current system, read their brief descriptions and check if there is a license for them (also included in 2.16.0)
  • A module that lets you load images to MDB categories, view them and link them to database items (also included in 2.16.0)
  • A module for viewing MDB item editing history. Its distinguishing features are:
    • Asynchronous loading of data and the use of cache
    • Possibility to create user filters running on the side of the SQL server
    • Grouping of the many changes of properties and attributes related to the same media item.
  • A new system of recording data about items played by X-Player to XML (also included in 2.16.0)

New functions and other improvements

  • Re-reading of Global settings on the fly (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Backup of Db categories on the local disk (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • DDB. Resumed loading of content after reconnection (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Changed interface and operation of MDB search window
  • Changed behavior of the program when dragging items with a mouse from DB list to one of the categories
  • Filter by attribute value in DB viewing window
  • Change in the logic of automatic schedule item update system in MDB (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • Expansion of user properties (also included in 2.16.0)
  • DJin 777. Assigning DTMF marks to a specific block (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • Revision of voice track recording system (also included in 2.16.0)
  • The possibility to receive internet stream with an authorization in Ice-cast is implemented (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Low audio sample rate support for recording (also included in 2.16.0)
  • MMDevice API support for level adjustment (also included in 2.16.0)
  • The right for changing unplanned pause filling system settings in the schedule (also included in 2.16.0)
  • The right to edit gluing (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • The right to run / stop DDB connections (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • The right to configure X-Player remote control module
  • Improving the reliability of schedule replication system: removing duplicates and monitoring of tracking state (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Shutting down application and services from the command line (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Synchronization of clocks with MDB (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Possibility of copying broadcasting grids

  • Setting the format of schedule item output time display (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Revision of filtering and sorting system in Media Planner Sales (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • Logging of file update system in the schedule (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • DDB. Possibility to pump the schedule 30 days in advance (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • DDB. Changing the order of pumped items (also included in 2.16.0)
  • DB Import. During automatic import of items from catalogue the possibility of searching for previous copy of an item to update by filename is added (also included in 2.16.0)
  • DB Import. During automatic import of items from catalogue the possibility of saving DB item name when overwriting is added (also included in 2.16.0)
  • DB Import. Saving the value in ID jingle field when overwriting an existing DD item (also included in 2.16.0 and 2.15.37)
  • MAG. Checking for availability of categories in rotation rules when used in clocks, schedule and schedule generation (also included in 2.16.0)
  • Added a new type of item user properties “Hyperlink” (link to a web address). Properties of this type may be created both individually for a certain item and for all items via “Global settings” and then viewed in the DB window in “Hyperlinks” column (also included in в 2.16.0)
  • Implemented the possibility of control over versions of DB items that have the same ID_Number (also included in 2.16.0)
